Christine Moi Duke

Christine Moi Duke, 57, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Beallwood Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Duncan and Rev. David Mills officiating.

Christine was born November 21, 1966 in San Diego, CA, daughter of the late Arne and Jean Minor Moi. Christine taught for 17 years for the Muscogee County School District. She had a great love for animals, especially those that were homeless. With a very outgoing personality, she loved her friends and family very much.

Preceded in death by her older sister, Debra Jean Obert of Phenix City, AL; aunt, Lynn Minor of San Diego, CA; and aunt, Anne Minor of San Diego, CA. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Wayne Duke of Phenix City, AL; nieces, Abigail Layfield of Phenix City, AL, Amanda Harsey (Allen) of San Francisco, CA, Anna Cochran of Phenix City, AL; great nieces and nephews, Olive Layfield, Kaiser Layfield, Nikolai Harsey, Madeline Harsey and Anslie Gash; brother in law and sister in law, Jimmy and Linda Duke of Rome, GA; aunt, Bryce Kranz (Dale) of Santa Monica, CA; and her uncle, Robert Minor of San Diego, CA.
