Christa Deane, 78, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital.
Christa was born March 23, 1944 in Mannheim, Germany to the late Max Baum and Gertrude Jasper Baum. She was a stay at home wife and mother that loved her family dearly. She loved astrology and reading medical books. She enjoyed giving advice to people, telling stories and she was very charitable and supported the community.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, SGM (Ret) Alfonso J. Deane of Columbus, GA, children, Max Deane (Enise) of Columbus, GA, Angela Smith (Terry) of Upper Marlboro, MD, Nathan Deane (Paris Clark) of Sharpsburg, GA, brother, Lothar Baum (Rita) of Kafertal-Waldhof, Germany, grandchildren, JaLysa Smith, Mariah Hernandez (Elliot), Julian Deane (Bri), Nicholas Deane, Terrance Smith II, Noah Deane, Christian Deane, Lance Deane, great-grandchildren, Kai Deane, Jaylen Deane, step- great-grandchildren, Nathalie Hernandez, Catalina Hernandez and Elise Hernandez.
