Chris C. Brown, 50, of Fortson, GA died Thursday, June 21, 2012 at his residence.
A private memorial service will be held for Chris by his family according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Chris was born in Ft. Ord, CA to Ronald and Eleanor Voracek Brown. He was one of six children- Ronnie Brown, Julie Smith, Shelley Kinser, Vicki Kostelac, and Tracy Brown. Nieces and nephews include Tiffany and Scott Covington, Aaron, Laura and Claudia Kinser, Cody Kostelac, Sydney and Mary Brown, and Spencer and Seth Brown.
Chris graduated from Spencer High School and attended The University of Georgia. He worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Columbus for numerous years. He was a true music lover and enjoyed nothing more than hanging out with the BHB on Thursday nights. Chris enjoyed good food, good beer and marathon games of pinochle with his parents.
