Charlynn A. Conwell, 57, of Columbus, GA, died Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, January 2, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Conwell was born July 7, 1957 in Chevy Chase, Maryland, daughter of Regina Marhanka of Garland, TX and the late Charles F. Marhanka. Charlynn was a loving homemaker, grandmother, and in her spare time enjoyed reading novels, crossword puzzles, and had a passion for cooking for her loved ones.
Survivors other than her mother include her high school sweetheart and husband of 35 years, Clinton Conwell of Columbus, GA; daughter, Lauren Conwell of Newnan, GA; son, Clinton Conwell, II (Whitney) of Enterprise, AL; 3 grandchildren, Sophie Colgrove, Mazzy Conwell, and Fiona Conwell; sister, Mary Ellen Fritz (Russ) of Westminster, Maryland; brothers, Eddie Marhanka (Cindy) of Dallas, TX, Dale Marhanka (Beth), Springfied, VA, and David Marhanka of Columbus, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted, but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society for Research.
