Charlie L. Davis, III, 47, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday, May 7, 2010 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend LeBron Matthews officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service on Friday.
Mr. Davis was born August 31, 1962 in Macon, GA son of Mollie Bohannon Davis of Forsyth, GA and the late Charlie L. Davis, Jr. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors other than his mother include his wife, Cindy Louise Davis of Columbus, GA, three sons, Charlie L. Davis, IV, Jeffery L. Davis and Joshua L. Davis all of Columbus, GA, three sisters, Cherry Watts of Forsyth, GA, Lynn Fitzgerald of Macon, GA and Donna Davis of Forsyth, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Boys and Girls Club of America 1700 Buena Vista Rd. Columbus, GA 31906.
