Charles (Charlie) M. Carter

Charles M. (Charlie) Carter 23, of Charlotte, North Carolina died Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Elder Butch Wheeler officiating. Interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Those who are unable to attend may view the services live beginning 2:00 PM Tuesday at www.mcmullenfuneralhome.com

In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing will be required for those attending the services.

Charlie was born January 29, 1997 in Valdosta, Georgia son of John David and Kelly Ann Frazier Carter of Midland, Georgia. He was a 2015 graduate of Harris County High School and was currently a senior at Johnson and Wales University where he was studying Culinary Arts. His biggest passion in life was cooking.

Charlie was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Henry Carter.

Survivors include his parents, John David and Kelly Ann Carter of Midland, Georgia, brother, John David Carter, II of Midland, Georgia, maternal grandparents, James and Gloria Frazier of Sumpter, Michigan, paternal grandmother, Mary Edna Carter of Quitman, Georgia, his uncle, James Casey Frazier, his aunts, Michelle Fox and Aaron Gray and her husband Todd Gray.
