Charles Everette Wilkinson

Charles Everette Wilkinson, 82, of Nashville, GA died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at his residence.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Joe Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Parkhill Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 facemasks and social distancing will be required during the services.

Charles was born December 20, 1938 in Leake County, MS to the late Richard Hank Wilkinson and Eddie Lee Boatner Wilkinson. Charles served in the Navy as a medic for four years and worked at Sam’s Club as the general Manager in retail. He was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church, and the Rotary Club. He loved spending time with his family and coaching all his children in football and baseball from 1970’s-1990’s. Other than his parents he is precede in death by his son, Brian Wilkinson and sisters, Peggy Walker and Lois Pierce.

He is survived by his wife, Margret Wilkinson of Nashville, GA, children, Kim McCallister (Vic) of Columbus, GA, Chuck Wilkinson (Kirsten), Carrolton, TX, Kandace Wilkinson Brewton (Brad) of Columbus, GA, Dustin Wilkinson (Amy) of Columbus, GA, Dawn Morrison (Ken) of Nashville, GA, Jerry Osborne (Tracy) of Louisville, KY, siblings, Frances McCord, William Wilkinson (Betty), Kenneth Wilkinson (Harriett) Carlton Wilkinson ,Nancy Wilkinson, 11 grandchildren and  seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
