Charles Wayne Allen of Columbus, GA died Friday July 7, 2023 at his residence.
A Memorial service will be held Thursday July 13, 2023 10:00am in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Chris Dubose officiating.
Charles was born September 7, 1941 in Columbus, GA to the late Julius Allen and Alice Allen. He was the operator and owner of Cottage Kitchen in Columbus. Charles attended Porter Memorial and Christ Community. He was a Georgia football fan and loved his family.
Charles is survived by his wife of 52 years, Frances Allen of Columbus, GA, daughter Allyson Blankenship (Russ) of Columbus, GA, son Jeff Allen (Ally) of Columbus, GA, brother Richard Allen (Sally Jo) of Columbus, GA, sister Carolyn Allen Eynon of Scottsdale, AZ, and 6 grandchildren Ben, Luke, Lillie, Jack, Asher, Aslynn and many other family.
