Charles Glenn "Chuck" Strickland, 30, of Columbus died Monday, November 11, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, November 15, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Parkhill Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA. 31907. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Chuck was born April 5, 1983 in Columbus, GA. the son of Robin Marie Holmes and Glenn Strickland both of Columbus, Ga. Chuck owned and operated S and S Ground Keeping and also was a skilled carpenter.
Survivors other than his parents are a girlfriend, Holly Blackmon, two children, Caelyn and Ciley Strickland, sister, Amber Michelle Nobles, Paternal Grandmother, Barbara Ann Strickland all of Columbus, GA., aunts, Terri Gates (Steve) of Loxley, AL. and Pat Haney (JD) of Columbus, GA., uncle, Jack Holmes (Karen) of D'lberville, Mississippi and cousins, Jessi Curley, Nikki Farmer and Jacqueline Holmes.
