Charles "Charlie" Thomas O'Bryant, 76, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at Columbus Hospice House.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:30 pm, Friday, October 7, 2016 at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Alabama. Chaplain Mario Coneway, M. Div., of Columbus Hospice will officiate.
Mr. O'Bryant was born December 27, 1939 in Cloverdale, Alabama to Calvin Clayton O'Bryant and Bonnie Pearl Hipps O'Bryant. He served his country as a member of the United States Navy. He later was employed for more than 25 years by The Buck Company.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Carl, Coy and Carolyn.
Survivors include his brother, Clifton O'Bryant (Gail), sister, Carnelia Dean, step-daughter/caregiver, Judy Lamb, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
