Charles Auburn Henson, 77, of Columbus, GA died Monday, August 6, 2012 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church 1232 Double Churches Rd. Columbus, GA 31904 with Dr. Tom Neville officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends after the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Henson was born August 2, 1935 in Columbus, GA son of the late Emory and Bertha Mixon Henson. He was a member of 2nd Avenue Baptist Church where he served as the Youth Director in the 1960â
