Charles T. Bryan, 70 of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, February 22, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Mayhew officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mr. Bryan was born July 28, 1942 in Columbus, Georgia son of the late Caleb Bryan and Edith Skidmore Bryan. He worked at Bibb Mill and worked as a Bibb City Police Officer. He was a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years Betty F. Bryan of Columbus, GA; children, Rhonda Medley (Joseph) of Phenix City, AL, Wendy Hurst (Tim) of Columbus, GA, Lamar Bryan of Columbus, GA, Melody Bishop (Tony) of Fortson, GA, Carol Cates of Waynesboro, GA, Ben Green (Linda) of Elba, AL, Mike Green (Vicki) of Duluth, GA, Janice Linsenbigler (Harry) of Phenix City, AL and Tammy Newman (Ronnie) of Salem, AL; 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and brothers, Levis Bryan (Mildred) of Columbus, GA, James Bryan (Ellen) of Columbus, GA and Frank Bryan of Waverly Hall, GA.
