Charles "Charlie" Ronnie Bailey, 65, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the Chapel at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Boulevard Columbus, GA 31904 with Reverend Jack Wallace officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.
Charlie, son of the late Wilson Thomas Bailey and Lula Alice Smith Bailey, was born in Columbus, GA. He was a member of Altman Memorial Baptist Church. Charlie loved NASCAR, was a fan of the University of Georgia, telling jokes, eating chocolate, and fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Other than his parents, Charlie is preceded in death by his brother, Henry Carroll Bailey; and special brother-in-law, Tommy Hindman.
He is survived by his children, Melissa Ann Hall (Brian) of Columbus, GA., Allison Michelle Bailey (fiancé Matthew) of Dawsonville, GA., and Brandon Thomas Bailey of Midland, GA; siblings, Thomas F. Bailey (Kay); Sue Rose; Donnie S. Bailey (Melonie); many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
