Charles George Avery, 79, of Columbus, GA died Monday, May 24, 2021 at his residence.
Charles was born March 19, 1942 in Albany, GA to the late Charles George and Mattie Ruth Watson Avery. He was a the owner and operator of Avery’s Furniture in Columbus, GA. He was a member of Seventh Day Adventists for over 30 years, served in the Army for 4 years and was a Vietnam Veteran. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Houser.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Avery of Columbus, GA, daughter, Chara Lee Avery of Columbus, GA, granddaughter, Celee Pilkinton of Columbus, GA, and sister, Nancy Hopkins of Phenix City, AL.
