Charlcie Leonora Catron

Charlcie Leonora Catron, 82, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Columbus Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 16, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service.

A well-loved, faithful servant, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many, has been called home by her Lord and Savior.  Her life was a testament to her faith, and she lived it with an unwavering commitment to the principles of love, generosity, and kindness. Charlcie is survived by her loving husband Clarence, her children Debbie Moseson, Steve Moseson, Lynda Moseson Davis, Jamie and Roni Taylor, Julie and Richard Justice, Lee Catron, Sylvia and Brian Jones.  Charlcie was preceded in death by Lorena Moseson.  She was very proud of her 18 grand-children and 15 great-grandchildren.

Charlcie loved dancing and reading the Bible, but her favorite time was with her family. She looked forward to holidays and celebrations when everyone gathered to share the events of their lives around a table of laughter. Charlcie was proud of her children, and very excited to see her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow into Christian men and women.

Charlcie attended Troy University, where she graduated with an Associate Degree in General Education.  As we bid her earthly presence farewell, we rejoice in the knowledge that she is now dancing with the angels and reading from the eternal book of life. Charlcie, you are forever in our hearts.

A strong lover of animals, Charlcie always had a cat or dog nearby to love and spoil.
