Catharine M. Lenz, 43, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at her residence after a long battle with cancer.
Memorial services will be held 4:00 P.M. Monday, September 17, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Howle officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Lenz was born September 23, 1968 in Atlanta, GA, daughter of Randy Hester, Sr. and Carol Hester of Columbus, GA. She was owner/operator of A-CO Appliance Company. Catharine had a very loving family, and many loving friends who will miss her dearly.
Survivors include her parents, Randy Hester, Sr. and Carol Hester; her husband, Robert Lenz, Sr.; children, Robert Lenz, Jr. (Stephanie), Timothy Lenz, Brittney Blanks (Cody) and Justin Lenz; grandchildren, Madison Lenz and Cody Blanks, Jr.; brothers, Randy Hester, Jr. (Michelle) and Timothy Hester (Tina); and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 1382, Columbus, GA 31902.
