Carolyn Sue Anthony Smith, 77, of Columbus, Georgia died Wednesday, December 4, 2024,peacefully at her residence.
Carolyn was born on May 1, 1947, in Columbus, Georgia to the late Allen Pennington Anthony and Mary Nell Harrison Anthony.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, James “Jimmy” Monroe Smith of Columbus, Georgia; daughter Dee Ann Smith Anthony of Columbus, Georgia; son James “Allen” Smith (Christy) of Twain, California; granddaughters, Autum Leslie Miller Haslam (Duke), Alyssa Ann Anthony, Chase Claire Anthony, Paige Annabelle Crespo, Madison Mary Crespo, Bailey Lynn Crespo and Faith Ayleen Smith; grandsons, Allen “Jagger” Smith and Ethan Michael Crespo and a great-granddaughter Eliana Rose Haslam.
Carolyn was married to her beloved husband, Jimmy for nearly 60 years. She was the glue that held everyone together. Those who were fortunate enough to know and be loved by her knew that she loved with all her heart and would do anything for you. She will be missed by many.
