Carolyn Bonner Reynolds, 89, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907, with Dr. Buddy Cooper of St. Paul United Methodist Church officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery, according to the funeral home.
Mrs. Reynolds was born December 5, 1922 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Reagan Edward Bonner and Carolyn Estelle Bonner. She was a homemaker and a long-time member of Rose Hill United Methodist Church. For the past 13 years, she was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was active in Sunday School and was a previous member of the Mr. and Mrs. Club, Azalea Garden Club, The Columbus Country Club, and the Gallops Senior Center. She enjoyed dancing throughout her life.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Reynolds, Sr.; sister, McFrancis Snow; and brother, Reagan Bonner.
Survivors include her son, George Henry Reynolds, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Pam, of Columbus, GA; daughter, Carolyn McFrancis Reynolds of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, David Peluso (Dawn) of Hampton, GA, and Trip Reynolds (Brittany) of Columbus, GA; and great grandchildren, Ragan Peluso of Hampton, GA, Gray Reynolds and Stone Reynolds both of Columbus, GA.
