Carolyn Busby, 77, of Pittsview, AL passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Columbus Hospice House.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, May 10, 2021 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Georgia 31907, with Reverend Glen McCall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Busby was born in Opp, AL on June 4th, 1943 to the late Rufus Sanders McCall and Fannie Rushing McCall. She was a great mom, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her girls, dinners with her family, painting, dancing, and watching old westerns.
Other than her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband George Franklin “Frank” Busby, Johnnie McCall (brother), Evelyn McCall Cauley (sister), Jerald McCall (brother), and Ouida McCall Harrison (sister).
She is survived by Juanita McCall Wynn (sister), Burl McCall (brother), Her girls, Jackie Barbaree Adams (Skeet), Carla Barbaree Abney (Louie), Leah Barbaree Sanchez (John), Tonya Dawn McTaggart (Bill), 9 grandkids, Brad Adams, Jamie Adams, Heather Dunbar, Andrew Murphy, Kyle Dobbs, Kourtni Regan, Katie Murphy, Brandon Sanchez, Jay Herold, 7 great grandkids, and many nieces and nephews.
