Carol Moore Riffe
December 4, 1941 — April 6, 2020
Carol Vivian (Moore) Riffe, 78 of Columbus, GA went to be with her loving Lord Monday, April 6, 2020 at the Green House of Calvary.
Due to the public health crisis there will not be a funeral service. We will have a celebration of her life once circumstances allow.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Robert M. Riffe, father Henry Moore, mother Grace (Short) Moore, step-mother Minne Moore, 8 siblings, 5 step-siblings and great grandson Tyler Ward.
She was a loving mom and mamo to her grandchildren and GG to her great grandchildren, she will be greatly missed until we meet with her again.
She was an associate when the first Walmart came to Columbus until she retired in 2003. Some of her favorite pastimes were spending time with family, eating out with friends, going to Columbus Cottonmouths hockey games, reading cookbooks and in her younger years sewing and cake decorating. She impacted many lives through her volunteering and giving.
She is survived by her daughters Audrey "Tina" (Phillip) McCreary, Rhonda (Michael) Foster, grandchildren Cullen McCreary, Ashley (Mark) Ward, Susan Foster, Margret Foster, Christopher Foster, great grandchildren Alyssa Ward, Joshua Ward, Kaleb Ward, Konnor Ward, sister Wanda Hixson, step-sisters Margret Wright, Mary Conley and many nieces, nephews and cousins, too numerous to mention.
