Carol Lynn Hipp, 56, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, April 7, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital.
A Celebration of Life Barbeque will be held Sunday, April 15, 2012 between 1:00 and 3:00 PM at Lake Oliver Marina 5501 River Rd. Columbus, GA 31904 according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Hipp was born January 10, 1956 in Ft. Benning, GA daughter of the late Murray Clemont and Freda Moore Holman. She worked for Swift Textiles for 18 years and Superfind for the last two years. She had a deep love of cooking for family and friends, trips to the mountains, and Bingo.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Hipp of Columbus, GA, daughters, Carmen Maria Hester (Jason Ferree) of Phenix City, AL and Mandy Tanner (Shawn) of Columbus, GA, step-daughters, Michelle Hipp of Jacksonville, FL and Carolyn Hipp of West Palm Beach, FL, grandchildren, grandchildren, Zach, Carly, Payton, Landon and Sierra, two sisters, Susan Holman of Columbus, GA and Sara Kallner (Nick) of Frankfort, IN, and several nieces and nephews.
