Carol A. Gliemmo, 69, of Midland, GA died Thursday, August 06, 2020 at her residence in Midland, GA.
A private memorial service will be held with Rev. Stephan Brinkman officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, those attending the funeral service will be required to wear a face mask and social distancing will be in effect. Carol was born August 16, 1950 in Austin County, Texas to the late S.D. Greene and Joyce Greene Troxler. She worked as a Special Events Coordinator and most recently worked at Trinity Episcopal Church. She had a servant's heart and loved serving people. The Gliemmo house was the epicenter of the family. Her favorite moments included a driveway full of cars, a pool full of children and a dinner table surrounded by family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Robert "Bob" Gliemmo of Midland, GA, children; Scott Donohoe (Sharina) of Columbus, GA, Aimee Houston of Columbus, GA, Denim Wallace (Ryan) of Columbia, SC, Hayden Gliemmo (Cassie) of Moultrie, GA, Kelly Mullin (S.L.) of Midland, GA, grandchildren; Madison Donohoe, Jesse Donohoe, Peyton Fann, Camden Houston, Kylan Houston, Tenley Fann, Gavin Gliemmo, Dallas Wallace, Gray Gliemmo, and S.L. Mullin. Carol was preceded in death by her siblings; Michael Greene, Jay Greene, Tommy Greene, Susan Greene and Johnny Greene. She had an unwavering love for immediate and extended family as well as friends who she treated like family.
