Carmela E. Itzoe, 68, of Columbus died Thursday, November 26, 2009 at her residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 Noon Monday, November 30, 2009 at St. Anne Catholic Church with Father Gerard Schreck officiating. Burial will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-6 Sunday at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Ga. 31907.
Mrs. Itzoe was born October 17, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland daughter of the late William Powell and Anna Gaetano Powell. She retired from CB&T as a bank teller and was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She was a lifelong Atlanta Braves fan who rarely missed a game. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Itzoe.
Survivors include her daughters, Michele Griffin and husband, Mike of Franklin, TN., Roberta Itzoe of Columbus, Donna Itzoe and fiancée, Kelly Long of Dallas, TX., son, Mark Hatch of Columbus, brother, John Powell and wife, Toni of Columbia, Maryland, grandchild, Ryan â
