Captain U.S. Army Peter H. Tice, 41 of Columbus died Saturday, January 8, 2011 in Columbia, SC.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus. GA. Interment will follow at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery with full military honors.
Captain Tice was born September 6, 1968 to Charlotte Jones. He graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1986 and from Colorado State University at Pueblo in 2006.
Captain Tice was survived by his beloved wife, Heather Welch Tice and his two beautiful children Austin and Celeste Tice. He also leaves behind his loving mother Charlotte Jones, a sister Christina Tice, a niece Casi Palin, a nephew Joey Palin and beloved father-in-law Ralph Welch.
Austin Tice who is sixteen with the support and encouragement of his father has recently accomplished the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America and is participating in the JROTC Honors Magnet Program. His beautiful and loving daughter Celeste Tice age 11 also participates in the Girl Scouts of America and Chorus. His faithful and loving wife Heather Tice, with the support of her husband and family has graduated with honors from Columbus University with a Bachelorâ
