Callie Ruth Searcy Rollins MaGill, 93, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, February 4, 2019.
A celebration of life will be Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 3:00pm at Hillside United Methodist Church, 3737 US Hwy 80W, Phenix City, AL, Pastor Mike Koger will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the church at 2:00pm. Private burial to be held later.
Callie was born November 27, 1925 in Dale County, Al, to her late parents Tump Searcy and Edna Langford Searcy. She worked at the post exchange on Ft. Benning for several years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was Methodist by faith. She loved her soap operas and working in the yard. She enjoyed watching hummingbirds.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Rex Searcy, son Wendell Rollins and great-grandson Dennis Bierbaum II.
Survivors include: her daughter Patricia Rollins Elkins of Phenix City, AL; son James MaGill (Lynn) of Opelika, AL; grandchildren Angie Hoyne (Bryan), Brian Elkins (Dawn), Shawn Lankford (Haley), Phillip MaGill and Thomas MaGill (her special baby); great-grandchildren Markus Bierbaum, Sophia Lankford; great-great grandchildren Bryce Bierbaum and Alan Bierbaum.
