Byron L. Morris 80 of Cataula, Georgia died Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2020 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Meadows-White officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Georgia 31907.
Mr. Morris was born January 4, 1940 in Atlanta, Georgia son of the late Linton G. and Lorene Kirby Morris. He retired after 30 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service and later owned and operated Morris Tax Service. He was a devoted family man and would always do for others. He especially enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and supporting all their activities.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Martha Tomlin Morris; children, Eric Morris (Krystal), Karen L. Davis (Danny), Kim Runyon (John), Angela Morris; siblings, Burma Campbell (JN), Ken Morris (Diane), Judy Barts (Tom); grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Anna, John, Justin, Austin and great-grandchildren; Kayla and Todd.
