Bruce David Wilmot, 55, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rabbi Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Wilmot was born November 13, 1961 in New York, NY son of Carol Hopkins Wilmot of Wyoming and the late Donald Wilmot. He was a farmer and an active member of Beth Ohr Messianic Congregation in Opelika, AL.
He was a complicated man who was a creative artist, of a good heart and a strong faith.
Survivors other than his mother include his children, Taylor Wilmot of San Francisco, CA, Brendon Angus Wilmot of Woodbridge, VA and Kane Wilmot of Columbus, GA, brother, Gary Wilmot (Ilene) of Wyoming, longtime friend and mother of two of his children, Taylor and Angus, Patrice Wilmot of Woodbridge, VA, and the mother of his third child, Kane, Anna Wilmot, of Columbus, GA.
