Brianna Denea Dorris, 17, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at her residence.
Memorial services will be held 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA with Father Jacob Almeter officiating.
Brianna was born October 16, 1997 in Jacksonville, FL daughter of Dawn Marie Smith of LaBelle, FL and Marcus Dorris of Jacksonville, FL. She was a graduate of Hallie Turner School and a student and intern at the Springer Theater Academy for many years. She was also a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her mother, Dawn Marie Smith of LaBelle, FL; father, Marcus Dorris of Jacksonville, FL; brothers, Christopher Miranda and Taran Noel Miranda both of Columbus, GA; maternal grandparents, Leota Tulles (Clark) 0f Midway, AL and Timothy Smith (Terri) of Morehaven, FL; fiance', Marcus Jackson and his mother, Tomoko Jackson; and many loving family members and friends.
Flowers will be accepted; however, those so desiring may make contributions to the Springer Theater Academy Scholarship Fund, 103 10th Street, Columbus, GA 31901.
