Brenda Stroder White, 62, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 22, 2013 at The Salvation Army Church, 5201 Warm Springs Rd., Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends following the service at the church, according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA. 31907.
Mrs. White was born July 31, 1950 in Columbus, GA, daughter of the late Harry Stroder and Deloris Stinson Fortune. She was a homemaker and served as a volunteer at The Salvation Army, Open Door Community House, and Rock of Ages Help Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Gleason (Bryan) of Columbus, GA; son, Bobby Trivett (Sue) of Columbus, GA; sisters, Donna Vuono (Jeff) of MD, Bonnie Burklow (Preston) of MI, and Edith French of ND; brother, Randy Fortune of MI; aunts, Johnny Lou Hutto of Columbus and Gladys Butler; life partner, Terry Pybus of Columbus, GA; five grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make memorial donations to The Salvation Army, 1718 2nd Avenue, Columbus, GA 31901.
