Brenda West Leonard, 50, of Upatoi, GA passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, March 9, 2020 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery following the service.
Mrs. Leonard was born March 4, 1969 in Toledo, OH the daughter of Jerry M. West and Mary Bateson West. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and Nana.
Other than her parents, survivors include her husband, Duane Guy Leonard of Upatoi, GA; children, Jessica Bammel(Alan) of Upatoi, GA, Danielle West of Upatoi, GA, Jeremy Leonard of Upatoi, GA, Arianna Leonard of Upatoi, GA; grandchildren, Alex Bammel, Jacob Bammel, Brendan Bammel, and Samantha Bammel all of Upatoi, GA. Other survivors include her siblings Brian West (Diane), Lisa West Stoner (Jeff), John West (Mackenzie), Patricia West Keaton (Joe) and nieces and nephews.
Brenda was a loving and cherished stay-at-home mother. When she wasn't busy running her home based business, she enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends. She enjoyed cross stitching along with other types of crafting. She also enjoyed watching her hummingbirds, flower gardening and traveling. Her desire was to walk the beaches of the world with her faithful husband. She had a deep, abiding faith in God.
In lieu of flowers, living plants are preferred or, contributions may be sent to the charity of your choice.
