Brenda Bailey Canada, 69, of Columbus, GA died Monday, August 13, 2018 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Mr. Larry Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Ms. Canada was born November 19, 1948 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Ernest Roy Bailey, Jr. and Mary Frances Kirkland Bailey. She worked for 10 years as the Executive Secretary for Toms Foods and later worked for 9 years as the Parts Coordinator for Pratt Whitney. Ms. Canada was a Catholic by faith and loved to shop, travel, and take care of her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Christopher Canada (Gerri) of Columbus, GA, Lisa Hamilton (Wetzel) of Columbus, GA and Candace Ramroth (Brendan) of Sanford, NC, grandchildren, Mathew Blake Hamilton, Lichelle Brooke Hamilton, Brenden Bailey Fitzgerald, Samuel E. Ramroth, Ethan J. Ramroth, Dacey Frances Ramroth and Ella Maeve Ramroth, great grandchildren, Lillie Kate Hamilton, Emberleigh Gail Williams, Harley Blake Hamilton and Brantley Redd Williams, and cousins, Larry O. Kirkland (Patricia) and Angelia K. Meis (Bob).
