Bohdan R. Bayus "Buddy" , 93, formerly of North Haven, Connecticut died peacefully at home in Columbus, GA. on October 18, 2014.
Mr. Bayus was born on June 2, 1921 to the late Mary Korolyshyn Bayus and Stephen Bayus. He lived in Columbus since 2006 and was retired after 42 years as the Assessor of Newington, Connecticut.
Buddy was predeceased by his loving wife, Marie G. Bayus in 2013. He leaves his daughter Barbara B. Vanacore and her husband Brad; grandson Brett Vanacore and wife Cynthia and grandson Bryan Vanacore ; great granddaughters Livia Marie and Caroline Grace. He also leaves his sister Irene Bayus Wirth, nephew Steve Wirth of Port Angeles, Washington and many nieces and nephews.
