Bobby E Lawrence

Bobby E. Lawrence, 85, of Fortson, GA died Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at his residence.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday November 19, 2021 at Riverdale Cemetery with Gary Richardson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM Friday, November 19, 2021 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Bobby was born December 12, 1935 in Prattville, AL to the late James Fletcher and Maudie Parker Lawrence. He attended Jordan High School in 1951 and received his GED in 1962. He was an Independent Life Insurance Agent and a former CGA Police Officer. He was a faithful member of Altman Memorial Baptist Church. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Ronald Lawrence, sister, Hazel Thornton, brother, Buck Lawrence and  sister, June Battiato.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ramona Martin Lawrence of Columbus, GA, granddaughter, Barbara Elizabeth Moody (Don) of Leesburg, GA, great-grandson, Gaylen Rycroft of Leesburg, GA, great-granddaughters, Gracie Jo Hart of Leesburg, GA and Lila Belle Moody of Leesburg, GA.
