Bobby L. Kinney, Sr., 80, of Hiram, GA died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Vernon Prather officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Kinney was born November 2, 1931 in Brinkley, AR son of the late Gus and Opal Inman Siedenburg. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served as a Sergeant. He retired after 20 years with the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of the Junior Chamber of Commerce.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Jack Kinney and sister, Janice Cathcart.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Lott Kinney of Hiram, GA, son, Bobby L. Kinney, Jr. (Beth) of Oakwood, GA, grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Kinney and Bobbie Jo Kinney both of Oakwood, GA, and 3 great grandchildren, Jayden Kinney, James B. Treadwell and Dacie Jo Nash all of Oakwood, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Childrenâ
