Bobby G. Gibbons, 77, Columbus, GA, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, March 10, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Brother Billy Duncan officiating. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Gibbons was born September 27, 1936 in Geneva County, AL, son of the late William Cullen Gibbons and Gladys Culbreth Gibbons. He attended Beallwood Baptist Church and was a warehouse manager for Martin Food Service. Mr. Gibbons was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Bonnie Meadows Gibbons of Columbus, GA; daughter, Lisa Smith (Kelley) of Columbus, GA; grandson, Chris Nave (Kristi) of Marietta, GA; great-grandson, William Eli Nave; sister, Brenda Joyce Holloway (Morris) of Dothan, AL; brother, Paul Gibbons of Columbus, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make memorial contributions to Beallwood Baptist Church, 4650 Veterans Pkwy Columbus, GA 31904 or Gentiva Hospice, 2425 Williams Road Columbus, GA 31904.
