Billie R. Wilson, 86, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday, March 3, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mike Knowles officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 - 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA. 31907.
Mrs. Wilson was born August 7, 1927 in St. Louis, MO, daughter of the late Alpha Sullivan and Florence Ballew Maragni. She was a homemaker and worked for Avon for 27 years. She was a member of Waldrop Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Joseph Wilson of Columbus, GA; sons, Dean Allen Wilson of Cataula, GA and Caesar Allen Maragni (Phyllis) of Marion, ILL; grandchildren, Joseph C. Wilson (Jill) of Columbus, GA, Brooke Saalman (Ryan) of Cataula, GA and Brett Maragni (Lacey) of Jacksonville, FL; great grandchildren, Ava Caroline Wilson, Jacob Dean Saalman, Chase Maragni, Grace Ann Maragni, Bryce Maragni and Esther Maragni.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Waldrop Memorial Baptist Church, 2308 Hilton Avenue, Columbus, GA 31907.
