Betty Louise Tisdale

Betty Louise Tisdale, 93, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, January 15, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Beallwood Baptist Church with Rev. Vern Jordin officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery.
Betty was born April 16, 1929 in Columbus, GA to the late Noah Benjamin Phillips and Scenia Brookins Phillips. She was a member of Beallwood Baptist Church and served as the church bookkeeper. She loved to garden, going to the Botanical Gardens and Callaway Gardens, enjoyed baking and reading. She loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Tisdale.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth “Beth” Anne Tisdale Yaeger (Bill) of Greer, SC, Wayne Milton Tisdale of Columbus, GA, Phillip Daniel Tisdale (Winnie) of Columbus, GA, brother, Paul Emanuel Phillips of Costa Rica, grandchildren, Samantha Lauren Yaeger-Goodrum (Adam) of Inman, SC, Matthew Tisdale (Amelia) of Columbus, GA,SFC Milton “Tucker” Tisdale (Brigitte) of Fayetteville, NC, Lindsey Aldridge (Mitchell) of Columbus, GA, great-grandchildren, Kinsley Tisdale, Ryden Tisdale, Tobias Tisdale, Ryden Yaeger-Goodrum, Theodore Tisdale and Jedediah Tisdale.
