Betty Ruth Watson, 80, of Columbus, GA died Friday, October 30, 2009 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 3 PM Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Riverdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Watson was born January 15, 1929 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late B.C. Downing and Maggie Williams Downing. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin J. Watson and sons, Alvin Richard Watson and Calvin Mitchell Watson.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda D. Kotto of Cusseta, GA, Brenda G. Watson of Gulf Port, MS, Kathy E. Hodges (Steve) of Columbus, GA and Patricia A. Pagan of Columbus, GA, five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
