Betty Ann Pylant, 79, of Hamilton, GA died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at her home.
Cryptside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 19, 2018 at Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Buddy Lamb officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Pylant was born March 22, 1939 in Newnan, GA daughter of the late Jessie Furlow and Lottie Bell Vaughn Furlow. She was a homemaker and a seamstress at Alabama fashions and AAFES. She was also a caregiver for Dr. Perkins for many years. Mrs. Pylant enjoyed thrift shopping and had a thrift shop called "The Attic".
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Pylant and son, Robert Cory Pylant.
Survivors include son, Michael A. Pylant (Carol) of Hamilton, GA, grandchildren, Amber Pylant of Hamilton, GA, Mikey Pylant (Ashley) of Washington, Tracy Evans (John) and Christina Overby (Bruce), great-grandchildren, Jackson Pylant, Eden Pylant and Odin Pylant, step-daughter, Linda O'Neil (Tommy), cousins, Jennifer Barnes, Libby Campos, and Tammy Marshall, and other loving family members.
