Betty Jeanette Pate, 85, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, November 9, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Dr. Benny Pate officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Pate was born May 29, 1934 in Coffee County, AL daughter of the late Connie and Annie Mae Tilegard Doster. She retired as a bookkeeper for Billy's IGA and was a member of Sunderland Baptist Church of Phenix City, AL.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Albert Eugene Pate.
Survivors include her daughters, Darlene Elledge (Mike), Sharon Davis (George) and Deborah Middleton all of Columbus, GA, son, David Pate (Pam) of Columbus, GA, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren.
