Betty Crowder Lifsey, 86, of Columbus, GA died Friday, March 1, 2019 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, March 4, 2019 at Grace Baptist Church 2915 14th Ave. Columbus, GA 31904 with Pastor Seth Hon officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Lifsey was born June 9, 1932 in Milner, GA daughter of the late Frank A. Crowder and Clyde Bedsole Crowder. She worked as a packer for Sunshine Biscuit Company and joined Grace Baptist Church in 1962.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hulette E. Lifsey and granddaughter, Kristal Watkins Freiberg.
Survivors include her children, Stan and Pat Lifsey, Kathy and Don Watkins, Steve and Sherry Lifsey, Kelli and George Fox and Kay Stringfellow, 8 grandchildren who are the sweetest and most loved in the world, Todd Lifsey, Chris Lifsey, Clay Watkins, Brandi Lifsey, Chad Lifsey, Natalee Fox and Tripp Stringfellow, and 8 great-grandchildren, Bradlee Lifsey, Chase Dekker, Carter Freiberg, Collin Freiberg, Luke Lifsey, Jake Lifsey, Cole Watkins and Ella Lifsey.
