Betty King

Betty Faye King, 90, of Valley, AL passed peacefully on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, April 14, 2025 at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Road Columbus, GA 31907 according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

She was a proud member of the South Columbus Exchange Club, an honorary member of Eastern Star Fort Benning Chapter 278, and owner of "A Beautiful Touch Flowers and Gifts" shop. She was known for her strength, grace, and unwavering love.

Preceded in death by her mother, Bettie Elizabeth Leatherwood Prestwood, father, Andrew Jackson Prestwood, sisters, Mary Joe Carr and Clara Elizabeth Chambers, and brother, Andrew Ray Prestwood.

Survived by her daughters Deborah Kimbrell and Mary Elizabeth Coleman, grandson Calvin Glen Coleman, and great-granddaughter Cali Elizabeth Coleman.

Her spirit lives on in the kindness, courage, and love shared by those who knew her.
