Betty Jean Jimenez, 69, of Columbus, GA died Monday, June 17, 2013 at Rivertowne Center.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 21, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bradley Arnholt officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Jimenez was born September 16, 1943 in Bremerton, WA daughter of the late David Haddley Miller and Mary Hollomon Miller. She worked as a Resource Management Officer for the Civil Service. She was also a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, David Jimenez of Columbus, GA, children, Dana Elmore (J.T.) of Shreveport, LA, David Jimenez, Jr. (Melissa) of Dallas, TX, Benjamin Jimenez of Hinesville, GA, Robert Jimenez of Hinesville, GA, Amanda Jimenez (her fiancé, Omar) of Ft. Stewart, GA and Kimberly Jimenez of Columbus, GA, sisters, Marilyn Anderson (Erns) of Dallas, TX and Sue Danielson (Leon) of Raleigh, N.C., and five grandchildren.
