Betty Wren Gannon, 84, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Orchard View. A private funeral service will be held Monday, July 20, 2020 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory eith Pastor Judy Hay officiating. A private interment will be held Tuesday at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Gannon was born December 30, 1935 in Talledega, AL to the late Carl and Frances Finch Shropshire. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward James Gannon; son, Carl; sister, Patsy Hughston; daughter-in-law, Jane and step-son, Bill Gannon.
Survivors include her sister, June Boren of Ladonia, AL; nieces, Cindy Powell(Steve) of Columbus, GA, Patty Eavenson(Rusty) of Miami, FL; stepdaughter, Cissie Gannon Kee of Hamilton, GA; step grandsons, James Gannon (Dominique) of Phenix City, AL, Josh Gannon (Brittany) of McDonough, GA, Jon Gannon of Hilton Head, SC; and great grandchildren, Alexis, Jemma, James Jr., and Jackson.
