Betty Lynch Braxton, 86, of Columbus, GA, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House.
A private service will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Braxton was born February 28, 1929 in Louvale, GA, daughter of the late Clifford Tanner Lynch and Mary Kathryn Peed Storey. She was a homemaker and former bookkeeper for Braxton Gulf.
Survivors include her sons, William B. "Brad" Braxton (Kris), Midland, GA and Dr. Mark T. Braxton (Melinda) of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Courtney Braxton and Will Braxton both of Atlanta, GA, Lindsey Shook (Matt), Tanner Braxton, and Billy Braxton all of Pensacola, FL.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Columbus Hospice House, 7020 Moon Road Columbus, GA 31909.
