Benny Wayne Pilcher, 75, of Waverly Hall, GA passed away on September 14, 2023 at his residence.
Benny was born March 10, 1948 in Columbus, GA son of the late Milton Paul and Elizabeth Jewel Pilcher. He retired in 2017. He will always be known for his uncanny sense of humor. Benny never met a stranger; he was always striking up a conversation with others. Whatever he did, he did with perfection. He loved being involved in activities with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Benny was a very giving person to others. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by 6 brothers; Donald, Henry, Homer, Ed, Tommy, and Melvin.
Survivors include his loving wife Carol; daughters, Kim Kelley, Benita Blanton (Jerry); grandchildren, Caroline Lamb (Casey),Cameron Hannaman, Chandler Blanton, Tre Kelley, Chad Blanton; great grandchildren Barrett Lamb, Benlee Lamb, close friends, Mike and Kathy Mobley, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He loved his family and will be greatly missed. WE LOVE YOU!
There will be no services as requested by Benny; however visits and calls to Carol are welcomed.
