Barbara Russell

Barbara J. Russell, 87, of Columbus, Georgia died Monday, August 20th at her residence.

Memorial service will be held at Evangel Temple, 5350 Veterans Parkway Columbus, Georgia 31904. Mrs. Russell was a member of Evangel Temple.

Mrs. Russell was born in Columbus, Georgia September 6, 1933. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Wayne Cox.

Survivors include her daughter and her daughter’s husband, Lynn Edwards and Charles Edwards. Barbara Russell’s sister Sue Bradshaw and her husband Bobby of Columbus Georgia; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She retired from the office of Jerry Goldsmith M.D. in 1996. After twenty five years of service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to MAPS mission program at Evangel Temple. Barbara was a part of the maps team for many years.
