Barbara Reaves, 75, of Cataula, GA died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Pastor Judy Hay officiating. Interment will be held 1:00 PM CST Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Jacksonville, AL.
Mrs. Reaves was born August 3, 1942 in Piedmont, AL daughter of the late Roy Willis and Geneva Sparks Caldwell. She worked as a Supervisor for Swift Textiles. Mrs. Reaves loved to read, gardening, humming birds, her animals and family time. Her favorite color was purple.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Fortenbery.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Frank Reaves of Cataula, GA, daughter, Judy Berry (Steve) of Ellerslie, GA, son, Franky Reaves (Annelie) of Cataula, GA, brother, Lanny Caldwell of Opelika, AL, 7 grandchildren, Michelle, Neicey, Tracy, Stephanie, Christen, Tiffany and Caroline, 18 great grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
