Barbara Tillman Fejeran, 92, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, June 10, 2023 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Buck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 285 Buck Creek Rd. Norman Park, GA 31771. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Evergreen Baptist Church in the fellowship hall, 2829 Evergreen Church Rd, Adel, GA 31620, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory.
Barbara was born October 13, 1930 in Moultrie, GA daughter of the late Lawrence and Iris Norman Tillman. She began her nursing career as an LPN and worked at Martin Army Hospital. She later earned her RN at Columbus College and went on to work at the Columbus Medical Center. She finished her career helping others at West Georgia Regional Hospital.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Helen Annette Millison and her brother Kenny Tillman.
Survivors include her husband Joaquin ‘Kin’ Fejeran, her son, Gary Burnette, her daughter Barbara Burnette and her daughter Beth Beebout. Four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, four nephews, one great nephew, one great niece, three great great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Georgia Sheriffs’ Association Youth Homes.
