Barbara Elaine Eysel 67, of Columbus, Georgia died Friday, November 27, 2020 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in Parkhill Cemetery with Pastor Ron Gibson officiating. Those who are unable to attend the services may watch the services live beginning 11:00 Wednesday at www.mcmullenfuneralhome.com
Eysel was born February 28, 1953 in Frankfurt, Germany daughter of the late Ferdinand Lewis and Louise Beyer Eysel. She was a member of Grace Community Church in Fortson, Georgia and was the office manager for Grace Counseling. Eysel was also a counselor at New Beginnings Adoption and Counseling Agency and an active member of Redeem and Take the City which is a initiative to end sex trafficking and transform lives. She had a heart for women in crisis, enjoyed painting and was admired by everyone.
Survivors include her family, Bruce Eysel of Manchester, Ga., Audrey Austin of Columbus, Ga., Diana Eysel of Columbus, Ga. and other family members to include Bart Eysel (Kimetha), Chris Eysel (Rhonda), Jennifer Mahaffey, Johnathan Austin (Melissa), McKenzie Killebrew (Bucky) and Calen Austin (Chelsea).
